Yes, I generally like to meet potential clients for an informal, no-obligation chat and to find out your specific requirements.

 

Do you provide colour and black & white photographs?

I provide you with a combination of colour and black & white photographs.

 

What camera do you use and do you have back-up equipment?

My main camera is a from the Pro series of Canon cameras. Most of my equipment is from the Canon Pro series range and I do carry backup equipment.

 

What wedding albums do you use?

I use beautiful, hand crafted Jorgensen Albums. Each album is bespoke designed to suit your particular requirements. A proof album would be emailed to you for your approval prior to printing and assembly. These albums are made to last a lifetime under normal conditions and use.

 

Will you edit the photographs?

I look at every single photo taken on the day and they will be edited if it is required. Please get in touch if you require a specific style or effect in post production.

 

How long will it be before we can see our photographs?

Photographs can be viewed using a supplied password (if required) online usually 7-14 days from the wedding date and secure online orders can be taken from friends, guests and family for photographs and other products.

 

How long does it take for an album to be produced?

From receipt of your approval it can take up to 4 weeks for you to receive your album in normal times. Albums can take slightly longer leading up to the Christmas season.

 

How will I receive my album?

Albums are sent out directly to you from my supplier. If you live locally, sometimes I have the album sent directly to me and I deliver it to you, the client directly. You are more than welcome to collect it from me directly when I have received it. I keep you notified throughout the whole process. International deliveries will incur additional costs from standard.

 

Are there any wedding album options available?

Yes, there are many options available. Album cover options that include leathers, premium leathers, metals, brushed laminates and even wood veneers. Album cover name embossing, photo inlays, duo covers (stitched & non-stitched), acrylic (black or white) and photocovers (partial or full cover). Internally, there are options to have flip pages, printed fly page (white only) bevel and twin core mats. When will we receive our disc of high resolution print ready photographs?

For JADE CD only wedding packages, the disc will be sent out up 60 days from the time of photos being uploaded to your gallery. For EMERALD, SAPPHIRE and DIAMOND ALBUM wedding packages, the disc will be sent out at the same time as the album.

 

What is the average number of pages in a typical wedding album?

The average is 15 pages (30 sides) to get maximum impact and to create a true representation of the whole day.

 

How much time does the average wedding take?

If you take the average album package, an emerald 12×12 inch as an example and include initial contact, communications, meetings, wedding shoot, editing, album design drafts, ordering album and final delivered album and disc it can take up to 60 hours.

 

How many photographs do you take at a typical wedding?

I do not have a specific limit to the number of photographs taken. On an average wedding day I will usually take 600 – 800 photographs.

 

How many final edited photographs will we receive on the disc?

The number of final edited images is roughly 300 – 400 and the same number again in black & white, totaling 600 – 800 photographs.

 

Do you offer any other photographic products?

Yes, I offer canvasses, acrylics, box frame & framed prints, metallic prints and multiple aperture frames. They can all be purchased via the online gallery system when the photographs have been uploaded. For larger scale products, photos have to be optimised for the specific product chosen.


Do you require a deposit and how much is it to reserve the date?

Yes, the deposit is £350 to reserve the date.

 

When will you require the balance amount for your services?

A final balance invoice will be sent out 30 days prior to your wedding date. Final payment is required 14 days prior to your wedding day.

 

Do you have insurance?

Yes, I have equipment and public liability insurance.

 

Are there any additional costs for travel or accommodation?

Costs for travel are only incurred if the wedding is beyond a 100 mile round trip from my home studio, then charged at 40p/ mile thereafter. Accommodation will only be required as a chargeable expense if the wedding venue is some considerable distance from my home studio or very long attendance is required.
